Jeffrey S. Day

(President & CEO, Founder)

Mr. Day is a commercial development specialist, whose primary focus and expertise is the dermatology marketplace. He has held strategic sales, marketing, and management positions with major pharmaceutical companies, including Allergan Pharmaceuticals and Ferndale Laboratories. In 2000, Mr. Day founded Rx-Pharma Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical business with two licensed products ("Pandel" and "Pro-Q") and a delivery platform technology, "Restoraderm." After building a sales force and developing several products utilizing the Restoraderm platform, he successfully negotiated and consummated the sale of Rx-Pharma to CollaGenex Pharmaceuticals, Inc., assuming the position of Vice President, Dermatology at CollaGenex. A key to Mr. Day's success in the pharmaceutical industry is his strong ongoing relationships with the members of the dermatology community and capitalizing on their experience and expertise during the development, launch, and sales of new products. These ongoing working relationships are the basis for building invaluable Advisory Boards, and Steering Committees and aid tremendously in the successful launch of unique prescription drug products.

Duane J. Napolitana

(Vice President, Finance)

Prior to joining Quinnova Pharmaceuticals, LLC Mr. Napolitana was Vice President Finance of Bilcare, Inc. a Clinical Supplies and Services company. He established the financial, information technology and purchasing functions for this new US subsidiary of an international parent company. He also helped lead the identification, acquisition and integration of a European subsidiary in Wales. Mr. Napolitana also brings over 15+ years of senior level financial experience with Fortune 500 companies such as Cardinal Health and Fisher Scientific. In these various roles, Mr. Napolitana developed expertise in manufacturing and distribution operations along with financial controls and systems implementation and development.

Glenn Schloeffel

(Vice President, Sales)

Mr. Schloeffel has more than 15 years of sales and sales management related experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industry. He began his career with Johnson & Johnson in their Diagnostic Hospital Division and progressed to a specialty sales position. He joined Ferndale Laboratories, a specialty pharmaceutical company in 1997 and advanced quickly into a Regional Sales Director. During his tenure with Ferndale Laboratories, Mr. Schloeffel was part of more than 7 new OTC and branded prescription drug product launches and built multiple sales teams as the company grew from 14 to 80 sales representatives across the country. He has expertise in building new sales forces and sales management teams and related operations, optimizing sales performance, as well as overseeing sales force training. Mr. Schloeffel is a Navy veteran with 21 years of service, retiring from the Naval Reserves in 2001.

Steven W. Smith

(Vice President, Marketing)

With more than 20 years of sales, marketing, new products and business development experience, Mr. Smith has spent the past 17 years in specialty pharmaceutical and medical device markets. His expertise lies in building organizations, launching products, product portfolio and lifecycle management, and organizational leadership. While his experience in dermatology is extensive, Mr. Smith has also worked in podiatry, pediatrics, plastic surgery, orthopedics, and primary care markets. Beginning as a dermatology sales representative with Johnson & Johnson, Mr. Smith held several positions of increasing responsibility including sales leadership, marketing, and business development. In addition to his recent role as Regional Vice President at Stiefel, a GSK company, he has served in the capacities of Marketing Director and National Sales Director at two start-up specialty pharmaceutical companies, playing critical roles in the commercial launch of both organizations and several prescription pharmaceutical products.

James A. Haviland

(Vice President, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Compliance & Regulator Affairs)

Mr. Haviland draws upon over 30 years of product development and commercial experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry. Jim has held executive leadership positions in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs for both large and small pharma companies including Johnson & Johnson, Genta, and Barrier Therapeutics. His extensive experience in dermatology is complemented by work in oncology, wound care, and animal health products. He has been instrumental in establishing quality systems within R&D and commercial operations on an international basis, as well as providing regulatory leadership throughout the entire product life cycle.
