JACKSON KRATOM: HOW LEGIT ARE THEY?
There’s nothing simple or straightforward about finding a reputable kratom dealer you can trust 100% of the time.
Industry insiders know that there are a lot of vendors out there that promise 100% pure and 100% legitimate kratom options that actually cut their product with other strains to “mix and match” the options they sell as anything but a blended mixture.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg!
This kind of misleading marketing and advertising is rampant in the business, just one of the hurdles you’re going to have to clear if you are to purchase legitimate kratom you can trust. Thankfully though, by doing business with companies like Jackson Kratom, you don’t have to worry about getting shortchanged or getting taken advantage of.
Instead, you’ll be doing business with one of the most trusted companies in the industry, a company that has a considerable track record in the kratom world, and a company that regularly publishes independent (third-party verified) breakdowns of each and every product they offer – giving you insight and information a lot of other vendors cannot or will not provide.
Combine that with very competitive prices, a wide variety of strains and options, and inexpensive shipping options and it’s easy to see why so many people recommend doing business with Jackson Kratom.
At the same time, it certainly looks like the company has fallen off a little bit since 2016 – something we will dive a little deeper into as we go through this quick review.
Jackson Kratom opened up shop almost a decade ago, choosing New York for their home base of operations and almost immediately becoming one of the most popular kratom vendors anywhere on the planet.
The company really focused on educating their customers as much as they could up until about 2013 when blogging updates and the kratom knowledgebase they were maintaining sort of went silent. There’s been a handful of updates to this kind of information base over the last seven years, before the most part everything has sort of gone stagnant.
Customer service and support continue to be one of the high points of this operation, though, with very responsive support agents and a number of different ways you can go about contacting them – including via toll-free telephone numbers. This is especially useful for customers based in the United States that have questions they want to be answered or have concerns they need addressing and is something that not every US-based kratom business makes available to their customers.
Promo deals and discounts are regularly updated on the homepage of the Jackson Kratom website. On top of that, this is one of the few top-tier vendors that still offer wholesale options to customers that haven’t partnered with them and aren’t acting as affiliates.
Online Shop Experience
As we made mention above, a lot of the web elements of the Jackson Kratom shop have sort of gone silent and have ceased to be as regularly updated as they were from 2010 through 2016. The overwhelming majority of the product photos that are published on the site are from either 2013, 2014, or 2016 – with nothing on the platform seemingly having been updated in the last three years.
The web design remains the same as it ever was, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing considering the fact that it is still easy to navigate and still easy to use. The SSL certificate and 256-bit security encryption protocols on this site have been updated annually so there’s no concern there, but it definitely would have been nice to see a little bit of an investment made in the infrastructure of this online shop.
There is a blog and knowledgebase section of this site that used to be especially useful, but again it really hasn’t seen any significant updates since late 2013. A lot of things have changed in the industry over the last 6+ years that haven’t made it to the blog section of the Jackson Kratom website (and that’s a shame), but you can get that information elsewhere if you’re just looking to order kratom from this site.
Because the web architecture and coding is a little bit outdated the site doesn’t register quite as nicely as it could on mobile devices. This is definitely something the company will want to do moving forward if they are going to grow their business in the future, especially since so many customers are expecting not only a mobile-friendly but a mobile-ready shopping experience when they want to purchase kratom on the go.
All things considered, this definitely isn’t the worst online shopping experience in the kratom industry today but it isn’t anywhere close to the best online shopping experience, either. It leaves a little bit to be desired.
It should come as no surprise to anyone that’s been reading this Jackson Kratom review that the sheer amount of kratom strains available is somewhat limited from this company, too.
Sure, they have all of the “staples” of the kratom world – red vein, green vein, and a couple of extract options – but Jackson Kratom doesn’t have any white or yellow vein kratom options available for sale at all.
Product pictures haven’t been updated since 2016 at the latest (which is also the last time that new kratom products were added to the catalog) which is a little bit concerning – though if you aren’t looking for the most exclusive, most difficult to find and most expensive kratom options money can buy you probably won’t find this catalog limiting.
Every single one of kratom options comes in three different product types – capsules, crushed leaves, and raw kratom powder. This is again a little bit limiting compared to some of the other kratom businesses in the industry right now, but it still covers almost all of the bases that most kratom customers are interested in today.
The one place that Jackson Kratom really shines is in the wholesale and bulk quantity department. If you’re looking for large quantities of kratom and want to save big time on these kinds of purchases this is definitely the place to go. It’s not at all uncommon to save upwards of 30% or more off of competing prices when you take advantage of bulk and wholesale discounts that are triggered automatically when you add large quantities of kratom to your shopping cart.
Unlike some of the other competing companies out there, Jackson Kratom does not provide non-kratom products for sale. You won’t find CBD, herbal tea, or other organic and all-natural health and wellness products available on the Jackson Kratom website.
The potency and purity levels of the kratom you can buy from this company are legit, with the overwhelming majority of reviews for the products available for sale from Jackson Kratom glowingly positive.
The company has committed to independent third-party laboratory tests (and has had this commitment for years), though again these kinds of test results haven’t been updated for quite a while. Still, the reputation that this company has is very much one of a fair dealer and legitimate operations and you shouldn’t have to worry about the quality, the purity, or the potency of the different kratom strains you are ordering from this site.
There’s not a lot of information about the kind of relationships that Jackson Kratom has with farmers and cultivars in Southeast Asia, but that may or may not be of interest or concern to you.
The prices on kratom products from Jackson Kratom are closer to the high end of the scale until you start to get into bulk and wholesale quantities. Your average per 25 g cost of kratom is going to hover around four dollars to five dollars depending on the strain that you are interested in, which is a little bit above the traditional going rate in the industry but not outrageously so.
This company does not offer sample packs the way that other businesses do. That would have been a nice way to try different strains of kratom from this company at an entry-level price point, but it’s a relatively new business model that this company hasn’t gotten around to implementing just yet.
Shipping is inexpensive when you bump up to expedited or express delivery to addresses in the continental United States, with 100% free standard delivery available on all orders without any minimum requirements necessary.
You should know that the business does not accept any returns whatsoever and does not provide a moneyback guarantee on purchases. This is also pretty distinct from the rest of the kratom industry and something that might be a dealbreaker for you going forward.
When you get right down to it, Jackson Kratom isn’t necessarily one of the best kratom vendors in the business today but it is still a reliable, reputable, and solid company well worth purchasing from.
Yes, their website is a little bit out of date and some of their policies are less than customer friendly. But they still offer high-quality, consistent kratom products at affordable price points and have free shipping on every single order that goes out the door – as well as wholesale and bulk quantity discounts most other vendors aren’t willing to offer any longer.
